Veronique was a film I wrote and directed for the Film Four /Orange Short Film Competition. Primarily I wanted to make a film that all people could relate to: a boy in his imagination meets the girl of his dreams.

As the lead role I cast a then unknown James Buckley, who later went on to great fame in the TV series The Inbetweeners.

The film won first prize by public vote and was screened on Channel 4, FilmFour and at the Edinburgh International Film Festival as well as many international film festivals
