Patrik Bergh

Swedish born Patrik Bergh is an award-winning writer and director who has achieved success in both commercials and short films, directing high profile work for clients such as Google, VW, BBC and Honda.

With over 17 years of experience, Bergh’s work has collected international acclaims, winning Gold at The London Craft Awards, Gold at the Creative Circle Awards and Gold at The Black Pearl Awards.

Throughout his career Patrik has also written and directed short films. VERONIQUE, a romantic short about a young boy’s fantastical love life, was greeted with much acclaim, winning the coveted UK Film Four/Orange Film Prize.

Commissioned by Nissan through their agency TBWA, Patrik directed EXIT, a twenty minute road movie shot in the Nevada desert. It featured as weekly idents accompanying the popular TV series 24 and was featured in its entirety on the DVD Box set.

THE APOLOGY (2016) and QUEST FOR FIRE (2019) have both had successful festival trajectories. Premiering at Raindance and being part of the Official selection at Directors Circle, Seattle, Oaxaca, Paris Independent and Austin Revolution Film Fest to name a few. Both films also won Best Comedy at the Short to the Point Film Festival.

Patrik’s script for THE LAST BURIAL was a finalist at the Arizona Film Festival and quarter finalist at the PAGE Screenwriting Awards.

In between commercial work, Patrik continues to write and is currently developing a feature script about a retired contract killer who sees dead people.
