The idea started with a single image; an old man sitting in diner late at night waiting for someone.

I really wanted to make something very simple and stripped back yet that was still compelling to watch.

Diners are hardly original as a location but I have always loved them and have always wanted to make a film in one. This was my opportunity.

The Apology is currently on the short film circuit so sadly cannot be shown here in its entirely. Yet! Watch this space.
